Our Fundraising and Social Committees are celebrating the fact that this was a very successful event. DCPA will be making a donation to Friends of the Family derived from a portion of the door proceeds.  Thanks to all our hard working committee members, our vendors, sponsors, and the feisty and fun residents of Bridgemoor, as well as their wonderful staff for making this event such a memorable one.  Photos are on our Facebook page and in this month's newsletter - The Verdict.  Like "Denton County Paralegal Association" to keep up with us.

Please see the following comments from our Fundraiser Chair, Jennifer Stout:

This year’s Valentine fundraiser was a success!   We exceeded our goal, Yippee!!!!!!

The Valentine Grams are assembled and ready for pick-up; a day early; yeah!!!.  If you or your firm ordered any this year, I will be in the office today from 11:00 to 5:00, and will stay later if needed to accommodate those unable to get here before 5:00.

I want to thank our members who volunteered their time to help assemble the Valentine Grams on Monday evening.  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!  Your help was greatly needed and deeply appreciated.   Thank you Melody & Angela for your all day help on Tuesday; it couldn’t have been done without you.  I especially want to thank Joyce, Bara and Rosa.  These ladies spent the majority of the day on Tuesday helping finish the Kabobs, they aren’t members, they are great friends!!!   Also, a shout out & big, big, big, thank you to 13 of our members, Randy Stout, Tim Powers, Stephen Wohr, Kelsey, Kelsey & Hickey, and Party City for their candy, other products and money donations for our Valentine Grams.  As a result, no budgeted funds were needed or used.
