UNT System seeks to fill the position of Paralegal which performs moderately complex technical and administrative support in a team environment supporting lawyers and other staff in a public, in-house practice including working with subpoenas, records authorizations, and litigation matters. Looking for a candidate who works under general supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment and has the following skills: effective written communication, active listening, verbally convey information effectively, has critical thinking, an ability to coordinate schedules, an ability to manage time and prioritize assignments, and has flexibility to flow with what is happening in the department. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree w/ paralegal certification plus 2 years paralegal experience; Associate’s degree w/ paralegal certification plus 4 years paralegal experience; paralegal certification plus 6 years paralegal experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
