National Love our Children Day: April 6, 2024
DCPA invites you to celebrate National Love our Children Day by filling a box or donating to sponsor a child with Lovepacs, Denton.
Lovepacs, Denton is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization whose mission is engaging our communities to feed hungry children as an expression of Love. DCPA believes it is important for us to give back to our community and we look forward to volunteering with LovePacs, Denton.
1 in 5 children in North Texas have food insecurities and through LovePacs, DCPA is determined to help ensure that children have food during school breaks. Below is a printable shopping list (click link to download and print) of items that we need to fill one box, which sponsors one Denton County child.
If you would like to make a donation in lieu of donating food items you may do so with this link: DCPA Donation Link LovePacs, Denton suggests $25/per box. We ask that any donation be at least $25.
Drop off and donation deadline is April 3, 2024.
Part of the fun of volunteering with LovePacs is packing and decorating the boxes that the children will receive. We are getting together for a packing party on April 4, 2023. We will have light snacks and drinks for everyone to enjoy while we decorate our boxes with fun & love. Registration is required for all attendees(free). You may register by clicking here.
